Job Summary
Heres What You Need
Education
Accredited school of practical nursing program (Required)
Experience
1 year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting or specialty clinic (Required)
2 Years Experience in a clinical setting or specialty clinic (Highly Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse (Required) And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred) Or
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Preferred)
What You Will Do
Direct and guide back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow
Handle medical supply inventory orders and cost control
Manage patient phone calls for results and health information Monitor and documents treatment progress and patient response
Convey information to patients and families about health status health maintenance and management of acute and chronic conditions
Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures. May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
Prepare and administer injections perform routine tests.
Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices
Participate in teams to improve patient care processes and outcome
Perform other duties as assigned
