Job Summary
Department of Culture and Language invites applications for a part-time lecturer (ekstern lektor) in American history starting on the 1st of January 2026. The position is a three year position. The part-time lecturer is expected to teach various courses in American history in the American Studies program.
The qualification requirement for a part-time lecturer is a completed masters addition employment asa part-time lecturer requires either:
- Relevant practical experience at a high level which has not been obtained through academic employment at a university or
- A main academic position at another university
Part-time lecturer
The employment takes place in accordance with a collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations for academics in the state with the associated circular on the protocol for the job structure for academic staff at universities and the provisions for the position of External Lecturer as described herein.
