Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks in a timely courteous and professional manner.
Help run food from the kitchen to the tables.
Take care of entering and delivering In-Room-Dining orders throughout the hotel.
Present menu answer questions and make suggestions regarding food service appropriate wines and food preparation.
Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
Evening weekend and holiday shifts are required.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Friendly professional attitude and attention to detail.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays or plates.
Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (TABC license required).
