Position Summary:
Sunrise Sanitation is seeking a motivated relationship-driven Sales Account Manager to grow and support our customer base across multiple service lines - including sanitation (residential commercial and industrial) shredding tire recycling and traditional recycling services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building lasting relationships finding new business opportunities and ensuring every customer receives exceptional service. The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in expanding Sunrises reach by connecting with local businesses construction companies property managers and municipalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current commercial accounts ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across all service lines.
- Build relationships with local construction companies property managers (for residential business lines) and municipalities to develop long-term contracts and partnerships.
- Conduct regular check-ins and site visits with existing customers to address needs and identify upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on community outreach campaigns and promotions to grow brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Educate businesses about recycling programs and sustainability benefits positioning Sunrise as a trusted environmental partner.
- Share market insights with leadership - including customer feedback common objections competitive trends and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new customers.
- Track and report on sales activity customer interactions and account performance.
- Represent Sunrise Sanitation in the community as a trusted partner for local businesses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales account management or customer relations (preferably in waste management recycling or a service industry).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive approach to outreach and follow-up.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
