As part of its strategic transformation NMC is opening a key leadership role: Strategic Segment Director responsible for one of the Groups flagship segment (Technical Foam) and a central driver of growth.
Your mission: a strategic technical & visible leadership role
As Strategic Segment Director you will lead one of the Groups most strategic segments shaping its vision product roadmap and market positioning.
You will manage a multidisciplinary team (application engineering product management marketing) act as the bridge with R&D and production and represent the segment Technical Foam at Group level.
Reporting directly to the CEO and as a member of the leadership team you will play a decisive role in the companys long-term success.
Key responsibilities
Define and execute the segment strategy including vision roadmap priorities and growth opportunities.
Drive innovation from incremental improvements to breakthrough applications in close partnership with R&D.
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 1015 people (engineering product management marketing).
Build solutions through co-development with premium clients in construction automotive and packaging.
Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing business development and customized solutions.
Represent the segment at Group level (Leadership team) and in the market (clients trade fairs industry events).
Profile
More than 10 years of experience in management in international B2B industries (plastics foams materials automotive construction).
Strong technical affinity ideally with an engineering background.
Proven success in leading technical segments or business units and driving market growth.
Recognized leadership: strategic yet hands-on able to engage teams and instill constructive discipline.
Excellent command of French German and English.
Entrepreneurial mindset open to innovation and new markets.
