Position Purpose

Broadway Veterinary Hospital is excited to be adding another Associate Veterinarian to our practice!

Our team consists of two doctors aided by multiple technicians and assistants. Our support staff is confident and skilled in anesthetics dentistry radiology and lab testing so we can allow our DVMs to focus on surgery exams and diagnostics. Together we have created a casual and friendly atmosphere for everyone involved in the practice.

Broadways mission is to practice modern medicine with old-fashioned caring. With the growth and change the last 17 years have brought one thing remains the same: BVH is a family environment and our staff and their families are as much a priority as the pets and owners we serve.

We welcome a veterinarian skilled in medicine surgery and dentistry ready to take part in our successful hospital!

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues policies and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
