Newton-Wellesley Hospital a member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system is seeking a Per Diem Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our dedicated and collaborative team providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in the Greater Boston area.
Position Overview:
Job Type: Per Diem
Location: Newton-Wellesley Hospital Newton MA
Start Date: Flexible
Schedule: As needed with flexible shifts in labor and delivery clinic or surgical settings based on departmental needs and physician availability
About the Role:
This per diem role is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician who enjoys flexibility and wants to be part of a dynamic and supportive hospital-based team. Responsibilities may include:
Inpatient coverage for labor and delivery and obstetrical emergencies
Outpatient gynecologic care in clinic
Surgical procedures as appropriate
Participation in collaborative care with midwives hospitalists and specialists
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate patient-centered care
