PIH Health is seeking an experienced Cochlear Implant (CI) Audiologist to join our growing Renowned House Clinic a well-respected practice with a strong reputation in the community. Position Summary:

The Cochlear Implant Audiologist is responsible for independent evaluation diagnosis and interpretation of hearing disorders. The Audiologist will provide cochlear implant evaluations assessments and programming/rehabilitation for new implant candidates and previous recipients. The Audiologist will counsel patients and their family members regarding test results and will review options that best meet their hearing care addition the Audiologist will administer diagnostic tests for patients outside of the cochlear implant program.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient colleague and vendor population
  • Demonstrates experience successfully managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to administer and interpret the full range of audiological tests from comprehensive audiometric evaluation immittance measures otoacoustic measures electrophysiological measures for differentiation of conductive cochlear neural hearing loss and pseudohypoacusis.
  • Ability to provide audiologic treatment including hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy determination; fitting verifying and validating amplification systems; patient and family counseling and communication with other care-providers for patients.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills follow-through and the ability to multitask at a high level.
