About the role
The Shipping Associate at Southwest Accessory Group is responsible for accurate and efficient packing labeling staging and loading of outbound shipments.
What youll do
- Pack label and stage orders
- Scan and verify detail
- Load trailers
- Apply labels and route documents
- Communicate discrepancies
- Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Perform final inspection
- Support documentation as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse experience a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
- Basic computer/RF scanner knowledge
- Ability to read numerals and English.
- Bilingual a plus
- NetSuite experience a bonus
Physical Demands:
Standing Walking Reaching/Bending Endurance Balancing/Mobility Manual Dexterity Exposure to varying conditions Repetitive Motion Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently safety equipment loud noises: 8-hour work shift
