Job Summary

Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Syracuse NY
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Note: Must have acute care and outpatient experience; will work one weekend per month.
Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingOccupational Therapistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inSyracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Evaluate patient conditions develop individualized treatment goals and implement therapy plans.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals patients and families to optimize recovery and functional independence.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds clinics and conferences to provide patient progress updates.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Ensure therapy equipment is properly maintained and supplies are adequately stocked.
Support educational programs and contribute to staff development when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or higher degree in Occupational Therapy.
New York State OT license (or eligibility for licensure).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Preferred:

Experience in both acute care and outpatient rehabilitation environments.
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation skills.
