The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Aircraft Production Technician to join the Chief Mechanic Non-Conformance Resolution Team in North Charleston South Carolina on 1st shift.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
- Provides concurrent engineering support.
- Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
- Reviews and approves technical documents.
- Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
- Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
- Leads project and participates in technical research on proposed projects
- Serves as primary interface with internal customers
- Translates data into actionable plans for implementation within the organization
- Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
- 3 years of experience in 787 Airplane Program
- 3 years of experience working the aircraft and maintaining FOD free area
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience working with operations personnel industrial engineers
- 3 years of experience in managing NOE projects both in factory and on flight-line
- 3 years of experience in a team environment
