Job Summary

Summary: The lighting lead will be a working lead responsible for the Safety Quality and delivery of products coming from the lighting lab. The light Lead will lead a team of individuals to assemble lighting lids lighting cores LEDs soldering etc. The Lead will also be responsible for helping to troubleshoot customer issues onsite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Actively works as Lead on projects including fixture preparation installation of LED lighting components control devices and electrical wiring.
Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
Maintain UL/SGS listings by completing all necessary forms and labeling.
Demonstrated ability to problem-solving skills both electrically and personally with the team.
Responsible for the safety of themselves and their team.
Contribute to creating a safe and injury-free workplace.
Produce quality products for the assembly line.
Deliver lighting to the assembly floor on time.
Load up lighting pictures to My3Form under the CO# for every fixture.
Lead team to deliver quality products on time.
Track quality of products produced.
Troubleshoot issues with assembly floor.
Troubleshoot infield issues.
Work with research and development department regularly
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Set clear team goals.
Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
Oversee day-to-day operation.
Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
Motivate team members.
Discover training needs and provide coaching.
Listen to team members feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
Suggest and organize team-building activities.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Lighting or electrical background is a plus.
