Job Summary

Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Brick NJ
Facility: Long-Term / Acute Care Facility
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 8*5 Nights
Pay Rate: $2189 (Weekly Gross)

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities:

Provide and administer all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Deliver respiratory therapy under medical direction for the education treatment management and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and care.
Evaluate patient needs through assessment disease education and consultation with other healthcare professionals.
Establish rapport with patients caregivers and team members to foster a supportive care environment.
Provide and document education to patients and caregivers based on identified needs.
Perform duties requiring physical activity including lifting pushing/pulling and standing as needed.

Certifications:

BLS (AHA)
ACLS
PALS
Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
