Job Summary
Cedar Park Group is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with experience handling a variety of excavation equipment on commercial and signage installation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong operational knowledge of mini excavators 200 series excavators and similar machinery with the ability to work efficiently and safely in site prep and digging tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of equipment including mini excavators and 200 series excavators.
- Excavate small-scale footers and trenches for signage foundations and other utilities.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation in tight or controlled spaces.
- Inspect clean and maintain equipment daily.
- Assist with general labor when machinery is not in use.
- Follow site plans and supervisor directions precisely.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and site protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavation equipment.
- Familiarity with working on small-scale footers especially for signage.
- Ability to read and follow site plans.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual.
- OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
