ENGINE PROGRAMMER INTERN
What Youll Do
We are looking for an Engine Programmer Intern to join us on the Fortnite performance and optimization team. As a part of this team you will help bring to life new systems and tools that help empower our developers to continue to make Fortnite one of the most popular and engaging gaming experiences in the world!
In this role you will
- Learn how engine systems tools and automation are used on Fortnite to capture and analyze performance and memory metrics
- Implement augment and maintain those same features and systems using C C# and Python
- Collaborate with a globally diverse team of developers consisting of design art QA and production
- Learn and follow production processes that allow for smooth development practices
What were looking for
- Strong C knowledge
- Interest in game engine technologies
- Interest in performance/memory systems and tools
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate within a team
- The ability to react and respond effectively to constructive feedback
This internship has a flexible start date in 2026. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
