Hiring for Radiology Scheduler at Methodist McKinney Hospital (Full Time- Day Shift)

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in a surgical facility preferred.
- Computer experience preferred Epic.
- Requires language skills adequate for written and interpersonal communication
- Require visual and auditory acuity adequate from frequent use of computers and occasional use of other business office equipment. Ability to sit for long periods and to perform desk and office activities.
- Strong customer service skills
- Clear verbal communication skills
RESONSIBILITES:
- Considers priorities and special needs when scheduling all radiology
- Maintains schedule according to procedure and physicians time and staffing requirements.
- Coordinates schedule assessing time and equipment availability; identifies conflicts and adjusts schedule as needed.
- Prepares appointment schedule for review by the Radiology Supervisor so that adjustments may be made as required.
- Effectively and professionally communicates with the care team through phone email and other electronic communications.
- Answers and returns phone calls to all patients daily and in a timely manner.
- Procedure expectations
- Facility questions
- Insurance and payment questions
- Assists with departmental phone calls when the Control Room phone has been rolled over.
- Assist Radiology supervisor with projects and other administrative duties as needed.
- Fax radiology reports to surgeons offices daily.
- Notify on call Ultrasound Techs of scheduled cases each day.
