Overview
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Prosthetic Functions)
Cloudland Dental is locally founded with its first practice opening in Chattanooga in 2001 & then quickly followed by other locations. They have continued to make an impact within the community as they practice dentistry and treat your family like they are family!

Monday/Wednesday/Thursday:8:00 am-5:00 pm
Tuesday:7:00 am-4:00 pm
Friday:7:00 am-2:00 pm
Responsibilities
Skills Required to Make a Great Impression on Our Team
- Assists doctors which includes but is not limited to charting placement of fillings operatory set/clean up and patient education.
- Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
- Assists in clinical procedures and treatment such as: placing amalgam or composite fillings adaptation of temporary crowns removing surgical sutures and applying topical fluoride treatments. Limitations due apply per state requirements.
- Records and reviews patient health history makes chart entries under the doctors direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating
Qualifications
So How Can You Fill This Role
- EFDA Certification or on the job training required per state requirements
- Prosthetic Functions required
- Radiography licensure for respective state requirements
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
- CPR Certification is required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
