The System Director of Risk Management oversees program risk operations providing leadership and technical assistance for the agency. Responsible for Risk Emergency Management and Environmental Safety functions the Director ensures a safe environment across MHMR facilities and community settings. The role includes standing up the agencys Incident Command Center during complex incidents exercising independent judgment and having delegated authority for department operations. The Director also leads supervises and mentors Risk Management program staff.

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Defined Education: Emergency Management Risk Management or Health and Human Services field
Preferences: Masters Degree
Substitutions: Masters Degree and six (6) years experience
Years Experience: Eight (8) years

License/Certifications: Valid Texas Drivers License
Special Courses: National Incident Management System (NIMS)
Supervisory Experience: Three (3) years
