Meet the Team

At Silicon Labs our Austin headquarters is home to teams driving the future of connected technology. The Facilities team plays a vital role in ensuring our workplace supports creativity efficiency and a great employee experience.

As part of the Central Services organization youll join a collaborative and service-oriented team responsible for creating and maintaining exceptional work environments. Youll partner closely with administrative staff IT and cross-functional departments to ensure every workspace at our Austin campus runs smoothly and reflects the Silicon Labs culture of excellence and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the facilities team including reception mailroom and workplace services. Establish clear performance goals and foster a culture of accountability safety and service excellence.

  • Develop and execute facility management strategies that support organizational growth hybrid work models and space optimization. Conduct long-term occupancy planning and collaborate with business leaders to forecast future space and infrastructure needs.

  • Oversee vendor performance service-level compliance and operational budgets for key facility services such as maintenance janitorial food and beverage and building operations.

  • Ensure adherence to building codes environmental health and safety regulations and internal workplace standards. Lead emergency preparedness efforts coordinate incident response and promote a culture of workplace safety.

  • Partner with HR and IT to coordinate new hire setups departmental moves and office reconfigurations while enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with internal stakeholdersincluding Administrative IT and People teams to deliver seamless operational support and drive facilities-related initiatives across departments.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 years of progressive experience in facilities management workplace operations or space planning with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Proven experience managing corporate headquarters environments.

  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and service-level performance tracking.

  • Familiarity with building systems and workplace safety compliance.

  • Proven background in space planning utilization analytics and workplace strategy.

  • Excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.

The following skills will be considered a plus:

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Business Administration or a related field.

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).

  • Experience implementing sustainability and workplace efficiency initiatives (e.g. LEED certification waste reduction programs).

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $74200 - $137800 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience geographic location where work will be performed and applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
