POSITION SPECIFICS

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a full-timeTeaching Faculty position to start in January 2026. This position will be filled at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor.

Responsibilities include teaching courses indevelopmental andcognitive psychology in addition to core courses such as introductory psychologyand research will include resident and online instruction and normal university service. This is a full-time position with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic teaching is an essential function of this job.

A Masters degree or higher in Psychology or related field is required by the appointment date. Previous teaching experience and a Ph.D. are preferred. Rank is determined by education and qualifications.
