Supply Chain Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

General Motors is seeking aSenior Business Process Analystto join the GPSCCustomer Care and Aftersales (CCA) Supplier Managementteam in Warren MI. This role is pivotal in driving supplier collaboration system governance and process innovation across GMs global supply chain. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical communication and project management skills with a passion for solving complex supply chain challenges and deploying new technologies.

The Role:
As a Senior Business Process Analyst you will lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance supplier collaboration improve supply chain efficiency and strengthen communication across teamsdriving greater alignment cohesion and business impact. Youll serve as a liaison between business and IT manage system governance and drive long-term projects to completionon time and within budgetdelivering new business functionality and measurable improvements. The ideal candidate will work efficiently with internal and external teams and stakeholders.

What Youll Do (Responsibility):

• Lead supplier onboarding scorecard management and system access governance
• Manage supplier settings (lead times shutdown dates) and cost recovery processes
• Analyze workflows document SOPs and implement process improvements using applying continuous improvement methodologies driving operational excellence
• Partner with IT on system development testing deployment and training
• Troubleshoot system issues and create help desk tickets
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI Cognos SQL and Excel
• Perform ad hoc data draws and custom reporting
• Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with Engineering Quality and Operations
• Resolve supplier backorders past dues and capacity constraints through creative solutions
• Summarizing and communicating critical issues and resolutions to leadership

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Finance related field or equivalent work experience
• 5 years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing supply chain program/product management IT operations manufacturing logistics or product development
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• High analytical capability and proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Skilled in SQL Power BI Cognos Microsoft Access Tableau or Databricks
• Proven ability to lead long-term projects and deliver results
• Experience with supplier performance metrics transitions and issue resolution
• Ability to manage timelines resources and stakeholder expectations

What Will Give You A Competitive Advantage:

• Experience with EDI troubleshooting and system testing
• Experience with CCA systems (IMS SSCP SPOC GPCT) and data lakes (ATDS BPS CCA/DA EUC)
• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain IT Systems Finance related field
• Experience withCOGNOS developmentand advanced data mining
• Expertise indashboard creationandcloud-based analytics platformslike Databricks
• Proficiency inMicrosoft AccessSQL anddata visualization tools(Power BI Tableau)
• Hands-on experience withSSCPandCCA data lakes
• Practical experience with additionalCCA systemsincluding GPCT SPOC Horizon
• Knowledge of other CCA systems such as PAL Mercia etc
• Established ability to work with cloud-based unified analytics platforms such as Databricks Dremio Snowflake Google BigQuery or Microsoft Azure Synapse
• Demonstrated success as achange agentdriving innovation and process transformation
• Ability to performad hoc data drawsandcustom reporting
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such asLean Six Sigma OpEx
• Strong project ownership and ability to execute long-term initiatives with measurable impact
• Proven ability to own the outcome and work with urgency to deliver business results in an accelerated time-frame
