Job Summary
A high-performing 1118 secondary school in Gloucester is seeking an experienced and compassionate SENCO to lead its SEND provision from January 2026. This full-time permanent leadership role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an inclusive school that balances academic rigour with outstanding pastoral support.
The SENCO will oversee all aspects of SEND strategy ensuring that every student receives personalised and effective support. Responsibilities include coordinating EHCPs managing interventions mentoring Learning Support Assistants and providing professional development for staff in adaptive teaching. You will work closely with parents governors and external specialists to promote best practice and inclusion across the curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications:
QTS and NASENCO qualification (or willingness to achieve it)
