Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The LPN will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and supporting our medical team in a variety of healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
Provide assistance with daily living activities (e.g. bathing dressing grooming).
Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient care and activities accurately and timely.
Assist in the education of patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Required Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
CPR/BLS certification (required).
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
