About the jobAdvantra is partnering with a early-stage productivity software startup in San Francisco to hire a Founding iOS Engineer to build the first iOS version of their voice dictation app.
About the roleYou will build and ship the first version of a voice dictation app on iOS. You will ensure the app performs well is reliable and secure. You will work closely with designers and the founding team to create features that let users control their devices with voice.
Responsibilities-
Build the first version of the iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI.

Ensure app performance reliability and security.

Debug profile and optimize iOS performance.

Work with designers to implement user-facing features.

Talk to users to understand needs and improve the app.

Maintain app updates and integrations with system services.

Stay current on iOS frameworks tools and best practices.

Collaborate with the founding team to shape the product.

Contribute to product and platform design decisions.

3 years building and shipping high-quality iOS apps.

Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI.

Proven ability to debug and optimize app performance.

Experience shipping apps with multiple users.

High attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Experience talking to users and incorporating feedback.

Strong understanding of product and UX principles.

Experience maintaining app updates and integrations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous startup environment.

Portfolio or links to shipped apps demonstrating ownership.

Experience with voice-related or AI apps.

Experience at a fast-growing startup.

Experience with real-time or multimodal products.

Knowledge of iOS performance profiling tools.

Familiarity with AI-powered mobile tools.
