Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: DevOps Senior Specialist
- Location: Dearborn MI (Fully onsite 5 days/week; Local candidates only)
- Contract: 12 months
- Interview: 1-hour Teams video interview (1 round)
Key Responsibilities:
- Build test and maintain infrastructure and tools for software/code development deployment and release
- Implement and promote DevOps methodologies and practices throughout the product lifecycle
- Accelerate secure software releases and reduce risks of failed or recalled releases
- Improve cycle speed between end-user feedback and updated software through CI/CD and continuous feedback
- Assess and enhance current systems and processes for efficiency and improvement
- Use platform and enterprise tools/infrastructure to support DevOps approaches
- Assist with code/software releases and deployments across multiple environments (production testing sandbox)
- Identify and lead automation and innovation opportunities during the software lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with Big Query and cloud infrastructure
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in DevOps or related field
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years mentoring engineers
- Deep knowledge of software engineering
- Experience working with BI ETL and Data Management tools (e.g. Informatica IBM DataStage QLIK Looker)
- Knowledge of API development (REST API)
Education:
- Required: Bachelors Degree
- Preferred: Masters Degree
