Job Summary

Position- Inside Sales Manager Customer Location- Naperville IL

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Manager Customer will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth maximizing team performance and creating a culture of this role youll lead a blended team of inbound sales representatives and client managers ensuring retention and upsell opportunities while hitting aggressive revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead coach and mentor a team of inside sales and client management reps fostering accountability motivation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct weekly call coaching (via Gong) and regular pipeline reviews ensuring team members are executing consultative sales approaches.
  • Hire onboard and develop top sales talent to build a strong future-ready team.

Revenue Growth & Forecasting

  • Own monthly revenue targets across inbound outbound and account management sales teams.
  • Develop accurate short- mid- and long-term sales forecasts in a high-volume environment.
  • Track and analyze daily/weekly/monthly KPIs presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.

Customer Success & Retention

  • Partner with client management teams to ensure renewals cross-sells and upsells are executed successfully.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and address potential churn risks proactively.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Process & Performance Optimization

  • Oversee call monitoring and quality assurance processes to ensure consistency in messaging and customer engagement.
  • Create sales playbooks scripts and best practices for scaling success across the team.
  • Leverage Salesforce Gong and reporting dashboards to drive transparency and accountability.

Strategic Leadership

  • Facilitate weekly sales and revenue meetings with team members and monthly strategic reviews with leadership.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and ROI.
  • Represent the sales organization in cross-functional meetings with Marketing Operations and Executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of proven sales experience with consistent revenue growth and quota achievement.
  • 3 years of leadership/management experience in inside sales client success or a call center environment.
  • Bachelors degree preferred (Business Marketing or related field).
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) call coaching tools (Gong) and reporting dashboards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in building mentoring and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Highly self-motivated organized and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess ROI of sales strategies and pivot when needed
