PAY RATE: Up to $128/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (Up to 7 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

• Design hardware software firmware and interface specifications.

• Develop test plans to validate system designs against operational and functional requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.

• Research and apply emerging technologies to business and program needs.

• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype development and manufacturing.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in electronic design best practices.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology Manufacturing Engineering Technology Chemistry Physics Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science from an accredited institution.

• 3 years developing subsystem requirements.

• 5 years researching developing or evaluating electrical electronic computer software and/or firmware requirements.

• 5 years designing developing and integrating complex electronic systems or subsystems.

• 5 years with analog and/or digital circuit design packaging techniques and/or power systems.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-speed low-latency electronic design.

• Experience with firmware development.
