Summary:
- The Internal Auditor position offers the chance to join the Western Hemisphere Audit team of the client a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
- Together we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all.
- The Internal Auditor role is pivotal in evaluating the companys financial and operational processes to ensure compliance identify risks and recommend improvements.
- They are responsible for improving the companys operations by conducting assurance and advisory engagements by using a variety of procedures to test the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls.
Responsibilities
- Planning organizing and eventually leading various audit engagements for the client businesses worldwide.
- Examine the companys financial records accounting practices and business operations to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and company policies.
- Analyze risk management processes identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote transparency and accountability.
- Participate in special projects due diligence reviews post-acquisition reviews and investigations as required.
- Attend seminars and training courses; stay current on job-related technology.
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity legality and goal achievement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance.
- Masters or certifications (CPA/CIA/ACCA) preferred
- 4-8 yrs experience in an external audit firm. Big4 experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time & around 6 trips a year

- After 2-3 years in internal audit learning company operations internal auditors are promoted into finance roles across the globe.
