Position: Material Handler II / Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: Tewksbury MA 01876
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM or 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Summary
- This is a Material Handler II position based in Tewksburry MA site.
- The role involves supporting production and manufacturing by picking transporting storing and controlling materials accurately and efficiently.
- The position plays a crucial part in ensuring the right products reach the right teams from scientists discovering cures to nurses caring for patients.
- The ideal candidate is dependable safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Pick transport and control materials to support production and manufacturing functions.
- Complete all system transactions timely and accurately to maintain system integrity.
- Store materials properly on pallets within rack bins without exceeding maximum weight limits.
- Follow all safety procedures and SOPs; correct unsafe acts or systems when identified.
- Select label and deliver products for sales orders from stockroom to shipping; report delays to the planning department.
- Check all deliveries to confirm purchase order numbers quantities and lot numbers match packing slips and certificates of analysis.
- Receive store handle and deliver raw materials bulk components finished goods and non-production items.
- Assist with daily cycle counts.
