Job Summary

Responsibilities

Set up and operate various CNC Mill and Lathe machines according to production standard.

Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and job orders to determine machine setup and operations.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work overtime and hybrid schedules as required to support production demands.

Reports any discrepancies and problems to CNC Lead and/or Production Supervisor-CNC.

Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Operate cranes for loading and unloading various size parts.

Train other personnel as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

CNC Set-up and Operations Proficient in setting up and operating CNC Mill and Lathe machines.
Program Edits at the Machine Ability to make program adjustments directly at the machine interface.
Oral Communication Clear and effective verbal communication with team members and supervisors.
Written Communication Ability to document work and communicate through written reports and logs.
Reading Skills Competent in reading blueprints technical drawings and job instructions.
Time Management Efficient in managing tasks to meet production deadlines.
Professionalism Maintains a respectful and responsible attitude in the workplace.
Organization Keeps work area and documentation organized for efficiency and safety.
Math Aptitude Strong basic math skills for measurements calculations and machine setup.
ERP Utilization Experience using ERP systems for tracking production inventory and job orders.
