Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gaithersburg MD for a Generator Technician. The Generator Technician will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing generators ranging from 6KW to 150KW. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine inspections diagnosing issues performing repairs and maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and handling emergency service requests.
Qualifications- Knowledge of generator systems including 6KW to 150KW units
- Skills in troubleshooting diagnosing and repairing generator-related issues
- Proficiency in electrical wiring and systems
- Experience in routine maintenance and inspection procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency service requests
- Certification for warranty work repairs and ongoing maintenance is preferred
- A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
