Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior UI Developer with proven expertise in Redux Material UI and working knowledge of Java-based back-end systems. This role involves designing and implementing scalable performant and visually appealing web interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. As a senior member of the team you will play a key role in technical decision-making mentoring junior developers and collaborating cross-functionally to drive product success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and architecture of modern UI solutions using React Redux and Material UI.
• Design and build reusable components and front-end libraries with high code quality scalability and performance in mind.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers UX Designers and Back-End Engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Integrate with Java-based back-end services (Spring Boot / REST APIs).
• Guide and mentor junior UI developers perform code reviews and enforce front-end development best practices.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies trends and frameworks.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (standups planning retrospectives) and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Redux and Material UI.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 CSS3 and front-end tooling (Webpack Babel etc.).
• Experience consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs developed in Java.
• Familiarity with back-end systems preferably built using Java Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of responsive design accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) and UI/UX principles.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with unit testing and front-end test frameworks (Jest React Testing Library etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Exposure to full-stack development and ability to understand Java codebase.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
