Job Summary

Job Title: Cytotechnologist

Job Description:

Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens using the Hologic ThinPrep system and document results in Epic.

Participate in ultrasound/CT-guided FNA procedures.

Maintain quality assurance and workload records.

Ensure specimen integrity and proper documentation throughout processing.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot as needed.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety and infection control guidelines.

Maintain continuing education (minimum 24 hours/year).

Manage specimen retention and handle send-out consultations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education -

Bachelors Degree
