Job Summary
Position: Server Administrator
Location: San Jose CA Hybrid
Duration: 6 CTH
Environment: On-premises Windows-based infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows servers in an on-prem environment
Manage and optimize virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper-V
Perform server patching hardening and build-outs in coordination with the InfoSec team
Establish and maintain patching cycles for Windows infrastructure
Work with Active Directory in a mid-sized enterprise setting
Document technical procedures and configurations using Confluence and Google Docs
Respond to and manage tasks via ServiceNow ticketing system
Spin up and configure multiple VMs as needed
Ensure operational readiness and performance optimization of server infrastructure
