Risk Analyst: Petrochemical (Cape Town)
Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with the petroleum operations collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that ensure the safety of our workforce protect the environment and safeguard company assets etc.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Auditing/ Economics / BCom or related field.
- Advantageous (CA(SA) /Certificate in Risk Management).
- Have at least 2 years Audit Risk or Compliance experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Proven experience in risk management preferably within the petroleum industry or a related sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to health safety environment and operational risk management.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies statistical analysis and risk modelling techniques.
