Job Summary
Job Description
A well-established company in the civil engineering and construction sector is seeking a Junior Foreman to join their team in Cape Town.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years relevant experience in civil construction
- Proven experience working on roads pipelines and related infrastructure projects
- Strong ability to supervise teams and ensure work is completed according to quality safety and project requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing and coordinating on-site construction activities
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
- Monitor progress and quality of work on roads pipelines and other civil works
- Support the Site Agent/Foreman in managing teams subcontractors and resources
- Report on project progress and challenges
