As a Measurement Engineer within the operations team your mission is to ensure our devices perform at their very best. You will be responsible for characterising our quantum processing units (QPUs) and travelling wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs) maintaining and upgrading our cryogenic measurement setups and delivering data that drives our technology forward. Your work will directly influence the performance reliability and scalability of our products.
What youll be doing
Core responsibilities
Characterise our in-house QPUs and/or TWPAs and validate device performance through measurements.
Scale up our measurement setups to match growing product size and production volume while automating tasks and streamlining workflows for efficiency.
Identify and troubleshoot failure modes in our devices and measurement setups.
Your profile
You dont need to tick every box but if most of these apply wed love to hear from you:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Physics Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with cryogenics including operating dilution refrigerators.
Experience with RF/microwave instrumentation such as VNAs spectrum analysers and signal generators.
Knowledge of superconducting devices and their basic operating principles.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and measurement issues.
Experience with Python-based programming language system/task automation experience is a plus.
