Job Summary

Location: Beloit KS Campus
Status: Full Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Fort Hays Tech North Central has an opening in the Food Service department on the Beloit Campus. Positions is a 12-month position. During the academic year this position will help facilitate food service duties. During the summer this position will assist with maintenance/cleaning.

Qualifications include:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment as well as independently problem solve
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and meet all physical requirements for daily operations

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Varied aspect of cafeteria operations including but not limited to baking and cooking for the lunch and supper service daily food preparation weekly inventory dishwasher and basic cleaning of the facility
Support food service operations at catering and campus events
Maintain the highest level of food safety and sanitation
Maintain the highest level of personal safety and cleanliness
Support the mission vision values and strategic plan for Fort Hays Tech North Central
Perform other duties as required by the Food Service Director
