Role Summary
MetaPhase is supporting a client which collects analyzes and reports data related to project management activities. The team has been rapidly building reports and other tools into several Power BI dashboards and in other aspects of the Power Platform. Additionally the Government would like to improve their business processes and overall data quality.In support of this project MetaPhase is seeking a Power BI Data Analyst with 5 years of professional experience to build out its new dashboards and other data visualizations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for gathering requirements. This includes process information customer pain points system requirements and desired end state.
- Prepare and present briefings to describe how reports/dashboards are constructed and used.
- Identify analyze interpret trends and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
- Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information identify efficiencies and implement procedures to increase data quality.
- Work collaboratively with a team of analysts for knowledge sharing and to collaborate with practice peers.
- Coaching mentoring and developing other members of the team.
What We Need From You (Required)
- ACTIVE-Top Secret Clearance
- A minimum of five (5) or more years of direct experience in data analysis data visualization and/or data management and reporting in Power BI.
- Experience cleaning and transforming data including the use of Power Automate workflows to facilitate the movement of data from one location to another.
- Experience with designing developing and deploying Power BI dashboards.
- Experience embedding Power BI dashboards into Power Apps.
- Experience working with large data sets data models (transactional and dimensional) and dashboards.
- Experience acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining data systems from Development to Production including data sources like SharePoint Excel and SQL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Bonus Points (Desired)
- Microsoft Power BI certification(PL-300 exam)
- Other Power Platform certifications (PL-900 PL-200 PL-400 etc.)
- Designing and building Microsoft solutions using tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate
- Project management experience/training
Work Location & Travel
- On site at client location in Washington DC five (5) days a week no travel required.
Education Level
- 5 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in technical or related field; 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Clearance Level
- Active Top Secret required
