We are looking for Clinical nurse Manager 2-Day Ward to our hospital in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- To oversee and take part in accreditation procedures like JAG and JCI as well as internal and external audits.
- Should empower their employees communicate effectively and often solicit worker input.
- To guarantee that all employees feel supported in their learning are up to date on all required training and are released from the unit to attend training days.
- To guarantee that all rules and procedures are current and applied on a regular basis within the unit.
- To guarantee that discussions and plans for each employees ongoing professional development are appropriate.
- Assume responsibility for stock control making sure the Day Ward always has enough of the necessary supplies on hand.
- To prevent hospital-acquired infections coordinate and work with CNS in Infection Prevention & Control.
Requirements
- A registered general nurse who is either registered with or able to register with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Understanding of JCI/JAG or a comparable accrediting scheme
- Five years or more of post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting during the previous nine years
- Work in day surgery theater medical or gastrointestinal nursing for at least two years.
- Possess prior work experience in a multi-professional setting.
