Youll be instrumental in helping privately-owned businesses confidently navigate complex tax environments. As a Senior Associate Private Business (Business Tax) you will provide customised tax advisory and compliance services supporting clients ranging from family enterprises and partnerships to privately-held companies.

What youll do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of private business clients understanding their unique tax needs and providing tailored advice.
Ensure clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to optimize their tax positions including succession planning mergers and acquisitions and reorganization.
Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations conduct in-depth research to provide clients with informed guidance.
Mentor and support junior staff fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them protecting clients interests.
Provide updates to clients on tax-related issues helping them stay informed about changes in tax legislation.
Provide tax compliance tax planning and tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts companies partnership and individuals;
Assist clients with tax related services for acquiring businesses such as tax due diligence reviewing tax sections of purchase agreements and the process of implementing the acquired entities such as tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns;

Work closely with other departments (e.g. audit advisory) to provide holistic solutions to clients.
