Job Summary
Our client a prestigious full-service law firm with a legacy of over 150 years is seeking a driven and detail-oriented associate attorney with 14 years of experience and a strong interest in energy utility and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team handling complex and high-impact legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory utility and energy-related matters.
Draft legal memoranda pleadings and other documents.
Assist with administrative and regulatory proceedings before state and federal agencies.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategy and execution.
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
14 years of relevant legal experience (Candidates with under 1 year of experience will not be considered).
Admission in New York; admission in New Jersey is a plus.
Exceptional research writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated interest in the energy utility and regulatory practice areas.
