Medical Negligence Associate Senior Associate or Special Counsel

About the role:

• Working with medical professionals institutions and intermediaries across all lines of work from civil litigation disciplinary coronial inquiries and Medicare / Professional Services Review investigations in addition to issues of practice and procedure.
• Gain a depth of invaluable experience in multi factorial claims including policy interpretation and coverage issues.

The ideal candidate:

• 3 years post-admission experience in defendant medical negligence or health law up to Special Counsel level.
• Experience acting for insurers or healthcare institutions.
• A Credit or Distinction average in your law degree (graduates from UNSW or University of Sydney viewed favourably but not essential).
• A professional down-to-earth style and genuine interest in long-term development.
