Business Systems Specialist

As the Business Systems Specialist you will work with a small team to develop and deliver systems strategy to help the business achieve its strategic plan and organisational goals.

Reporting to our IT Manager and based at our North Sydney office you will be engaged and positive and contribute to workplace where everyone works to realise our established purpose vision and objectives.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Serve as thought leader for introducing or enhancing systems and technologies to automate and optimise efficiency and business productivity.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of applications and associated infrastructure
• Work with the business to critically evaluate current systems and processes. Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes across the business
• Partner with cross functional teams to develop requirements and process(es) for new business initiatives and transformation projects.
• Partner with cross functional teams to analyse and translate business requirements into system / process documentation. Ensure documentation communicates effectively and concisely.
• Development and implementation plans for every initiative / project.
• Support inter-system integrations ensuring the integrity of processes whilst pursuing automation and efficiency
• Evaluate and analyse overall efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes
• Develop relationships with partners to optimise systems and processes presenting recommendations to managers

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Degree in related fields or equivalent professional experience
• App specific qualifications is an advantage
• At least 5 years experience in corporate business and management required
• Experience / knowledge of enterprise scale systems ERP CRM etc
• Experience with BI automation and business tools or apps
• Experience in a sales distribution logistics or customer service business.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent listening skills
• Logical and analytical thinker
• Ability to articulate both verbally and in writing complex situations
• Collaborative team player
