Salary:$52220 (entry level)
Hours
What Youll Do
Lead and support engaging music vocational and recreational activities in both Day and Residential settings.
Create hands-on learning experiences that build practical skills independence teamwork and social development.
Implement the Music Education Program an essential part of Daily Life Therapy.
Support students in community-based job placements and campus vocational programs.
Collaborate closely with teaching residential and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in daily routines physical activity sessions and team meetings.
Plan and run fun structured activities during school vacation weeks.
Request and manage music-related supplies and equipment through written submissions to the Master Teacher.
Continue developing expertise in Daily Life Therapy philosophy and current Music Education practices.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Education or related field (required)
Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred)
Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
Comfort participating in active movement-based programming
Valid drivers license
Flexibility for occasional weekend or holiday shifts
