Job Summary:
The Physician Liaison is responsible for implementing local and regional strategies/sales efforts to build relationships to achieve patient referral growth objectives and assisting with outreach and education initiatives for providers patients & insurers. The Physician Liaison develops referral relationships and markets the services of the organization to targeted groups and delivers services to respond to needs/requests/suggestions to be operationalized. The Physician Liaison conducts site visits to physician offices and targeted groups to ensure communication with and response to targeted groups and to communicate the features benefits and competitive advantages of the organization. The Physician Liaison will visit physician offices regularly with updates on hospital services and ensure that physicians are satisfied with the hospitals level of care following recent referrals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Visit referring physician offices with practice information and promotional material for LA CENTA in order to build effective referral relationships.
Analyze referral patterns insurance profitability and competitive landscape to create and execute an efficient canvassing strategy using an existing database of targeted physicians.
Adapt marketing plan to changes within the region including adjusting competitive dynamics shifting insurance arrangements new technologies and changes at local treatment centers.
Assist the regional management and physician staff with networking media advertising planning and organizing events planning and/or sponsoring conferences and participating in appropriate business charitable and other local organizations.
Coordinate with managers and physicians to assist in establishing and maintaining referral relationships.
Maintain data on the companys CRM. Review progress reports on a weekly basis with the manager.
Troubleshooting any and all issues that might arise including: scheduling VIP patients pushing authorizations for urgent patients troubleshooting portal issues with IPAs etc.
Exploring new neighborhoods to help with practice expansion
Cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing contracted IPAs and MSOs
Researching new IPAs that might be appropriate partners for the practice
Giving guided tours to interviewing physicians
Creating personal relationships with practice physicians and assisting them with establishing their patient base
Assisting in contracting and credentialing for hospitals IPAs and MSOs
Understand competing ENT allergy and audiology centers and work with senior management and the centers physicians to develop offensive and defensive strategies.
Provide monthly reports on patient referrals and office visits.
Manage expenses to meet budgetary and compliance/legal requirements.
Maintain attendance according to scheduled days and hours and appropriate dress and appearance standards according to company policy.
Attend mandatory company training sessions as required by state/federal law where applicable
Other duties as assigned.
