Job Description
I have a client located in the Marietta GA area who has an opportunity for a Level 2 IT Support Technician. This role requires onsite training for the first month in Newnan GA after which the position becomes remotewith occasional client site visits in the Marietta area.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting client IT systems including Windows and server support networking troubleshooting system configurations VPN setup Active Directory and endpoint support. You will also handle networking equipment setup (Cisco or similar) firewall configuration and provide technical support as needed at client sites.
Travel: 20%
Remote: 80%
Requirements:
35 years of experience in IT / Network Support within a Windows environment
Strong networking fundamentals (DNS DHCP VPN TCP/IP)
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco or similar networking equipment
Knowledge of firewalls and network security best practices
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving server network and endpoint issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must pass a hands-on technical assessment in-office
