Want to kick start your career with a Tool Storeperson position at Hastings Deering This is a great opportunity for those who like the BIG gear and want to work with CAT trained Technicians supporting our Mt Isa Service Centre. This is a hands-on position you will be responsible for the coordination maintenance and control of specialized workshop tooling and equipment. This is a Permanent Monday to Friday position.

About The Role

As a Tool Storeperson your key responsibilities will include:

• Keep the Tool Store area clean organised and ready for the team
• Ensure all tooling is safe clean and compliant for usage
• Provide a prompt service and coordinate the required tooling as requested to enable the maintenance of the full range of Caterpillar equipment
• Keep your paperwork tidy with following processes and procedures to align tocontamination control and audit measures
• Coordinate all calibrations and servicing ensuring all tooling is at optimum condition
• Maintain accurate records of tooling usage calibration and servicing
• Provide a hgh level of support and service to your fellow internal customers and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve process and workshop outcomes

About You

Ideally you will have the following:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar tool store warehouse or mechanical workshop environment
• Highly organised and the aptitude and ability to keep tooling clean and ready for use
• Demonstrated experience following procedures and periodic checks to maintainmaintenance on tooling and tooling calibrations
• Ability to troubleshoot requests and supporting workshop personnel
• Strong customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability using internal parts/system databases for record keeping
