Overview
Presbyterian is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GeneralMedical Unit. The RN will deliver high-quality evidence-based care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. This role requires excellent clinical judgment strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Type of Opportunity: Full Time (0.9 FTE/36 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 12 Hour days or nights

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing
State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients physical emotional and psychosocial needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Safely administer medications and treatments monitor patient responses and report adverse reactions.
Continuously monitor patient conditions recognize changes and provide timely interventions.
Work collaboratively with physicians nurse practitioners case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses treatments medications and discharge plans.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Respond effectively to medical emergencies including initiating CPR or other life-saving measures when necessary
