We are seeking a proactive and strategic Director of Corporate Development to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the Companys most critical strategic transactions including identifying evaluating and executing joint ventures partnerships capital raises mergers acquisitions dispositions and other growth initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President Corporate Development the Director will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company oversee major deal processes and ensure long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic planning sessions and execution of the overall corporate development strategy.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities equity raising alternatives and strategic initiatives at the enterprise level.
- Oversee the preparation of presentation materials for the Senior Management Team Board of Directors and current/potential investors.
- Oversee and review financial models and valuation analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Supervise and coordinate due diligence efforts across financial operational legal tax and market assessments.
- Participate in negotiations and structuring of transactions working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with investment banks advisory firms and industry contacts to generate high-quality deal flow.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration with FP&A capital markets investments legal and portfolio management to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
- Guide comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends competitive dynamics and growth opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the corporate development team fostering a culture of excellence innovation and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8 years of experience in corporate development investment banking private equity management consulting or a related field with a proven track record of leading and executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional financial modeling valuation and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of capital structure and financing alternatives.
- Excellent negotiation communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership in fast-paced dynamic environments.
- High level of integrity professionalism and attention to detail.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
